Joanne Bromfield MICHT MIFST VTCT IIHHT

Joanne Bromfield of UT is following in her father's professional footsteps. Jimmy Bromfield is a leading and well respected professional Boxing Coach. Joanne qualified as an assistant Boxing Coach with the WABA, working with the Association as a Sports Therapists and Assistant Coach, spending many a time working the corner with the Head coaches as well as treating the boxers pre and post training and pre and post boxing tournaments. Joanne has also had the privilege of working with Christopher Jenkins, a very successful Welsh amateur boxing champion. During his amateur career, Chris, who recently ‘turned’ professional, was being trained by Jo’s father Jimmy Bromfield and is still treated by Jo. She has also the privilege of working with Nathan Cleverly WBO Light heavy weight Champion. Again Jo started working with Nathan whilst he was a very successful Welsh Amateur Champion and again followed him into his very successful professional career.

Lucy Davies

Senior Beauty Therapist Lucy Davis has been with United Therapists for over 6 years. She explains,

“I started my association with the company as a 14 year old because I wanted something to do on Saturdays. Jo was the assistant coach and onsite therapist at our local boxing club and we instantly gelled. Jo encouraged me to broaden my horizons and gave me work experience. I was hooked and as soon as I could I started at United Therapists Ltd as a Saturday girl. Jo encouraged me to go to Gower College Swansea to study beauty therapy NVQ levels I II and III. I worked hard at my studies and together with my Saturday job, I eventually finished my course with Distinction and I was Student of the Year. Jo instantly offered me a job and apart from a year out, I have become the senior beauty therapist. We are one big family, we like go for weekends away, see exhibitions and go for afternoon tea at the Hilton and shopping in Cardiff!!!”

Lucy is well liked and loved by clients, friends and colleagues alike. There is never a dull day with Lucy around.

Kitty

Our latest addition to the United Therapists family is Kitty who is a trainee Beauty Therapist.

Christopher

Christopher is a part time Therapist who provides massage and other treatments.
